**180 DAY Warranty**:  Our Engines are warranted against manufacture defects for a period of 6 months / Unlimited Miles. Return freight to Bishop Engine is the buyer’s responsibility. Authorized repair or replacement of the original engine does not extend warranty period. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the Seller. THIS IS A PART ONLY WARRANTY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE REIMBURSEMENT FOR LABOR. This warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, neglect, accidental breakage externally or internally, lack of lubrication, excessive heat, incorrect fluid, or use for any purpose other than originally intended. In no event shall the Seller be held responsible for any consequential or incidental damages from the use of a product or improper installation.  Original manufacturer’s maintenance schedules must be maintained by buyer with records available upon request of Seller. This warranty does not cover towing, car rental, meals, fluids, lost wages, lodging, labor, miscellaneous expenses or lost income from loss of vehicle use.  External parts, sensors, speed sensors, and electrical wiring are buyer’s responsibility to replace/maintain with certified installations.  Warranty is not transferable.

*****ENGINE HAS BEEN SIM TESTED. THIS PROCESS IS USED TO SIMULATE THIS AS A STARTED RUNNING ENGINE, (TO CHECK FOR OIL PRESSURE, LUBRICATION, LIFTERS, CAMSHAFT, CRANKSHAFT) SIM TESTING  DOES NOT SEAT THE PISTON RINGS. SIM TESTING DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE ENGINE IS BROKEN IN READY FOR USE.*****

 ENGINE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A CERTIFIED SHOP AND INSTALLER AND REGULAR MAINTENANCE PERFORMED. PROVE OF MAINTENANCE MUST BE PROVIDED IN CASE OF A WARRANTY CLAIM. 

*BREAK IN OIL:  ENGINE OIL MUST BE REPLACED AFTER THE FIRST 4 HOURS OF BREAK IN. 5W30 WEIGHT CONVENTIONAL / MINERAL OIL WITH ZINC ADDITIVE (MAXIMA BREAK IN OIL OR ADD LUCAS TB ZINC PLUS TO STANDARD *NON SYNTHETIC* 5W30 OIL, NO SYNTHETICS TILL ENGINE IS COMPLETELY FULLFILLED BREAK IN PERIOD.

  IN CASE OF A WARRANTY CLAIM: WE WILL ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE CERTIFIED INSTALLER AND THEY WILL BE ASKED TO PERFORM SOME TEST TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF ANY FAILURE. WE WILL NEED RECEIPT OF INSTALLATION FROM THE CERTIFIED INSTALLER.(SHOWING VEHICLE VIN NUMBER , MILES,YEAR ,MAKE AND MODEL. PROOF OF MAINTENANCE RECEIPTS.

BEFORE WE CAN VALIDATE A WARRANTY, WE WILL NEED TO RECEIVE THE Engine long Block BACK FOR INSPECTION AND FREIGHT PAID BY CUSTOMER.
